“I joined PAWS my freshman year and it has led me to an amazing community of women.
It can be hard find a place on this big campus, but PAWS has a way of making you feel at home. From serving animals to having fun with your girls I have made incredible memories in the org, and some incredible friends. I even had the privilege of going to a wedding for one of my friends I met in PAWS!
On top of the amazing people, the work we do serving animals is so fulfilling and rewarding. One of my favorite events is when we volunteer at a pig sanctuary, they are very cute and so sweet (especially when we give them Cheerios). My time in PAWS has allowed me to grow in so many ways and I know I’ll miss it so much when I graduate”

“I joined PAWS my freshman year here at A&M and being a part of this org has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my college experience. Over my past 2 years in PAWS I have met girls that are now some of my best friends, volunteered in the community, helped animals in need, and made so many memories. One of my favorite moments in PAWS was when Queen Rev came to visit at one of our bi-weekly meetings! This past year I was blessed to meet and adopt my perfect daughter (my little), and I have had a blast getting pizzookies with her, hanging out at events and helping her find her way in the org. I am so lucky to have found an org that brings me closer to other animal-loving girls looking to make a difference. I love PAWS with all my heart and you will too!!”

She greeted me with the biggest smile and an even bigger personality, instantly making me feel comfortable and like I already belonged. That moment perfectly reflects what PAWS is all about. I love that we’re able to connect through our shared passion for helping animals, but what has meant the most to me are the genuine friendships and support I’ve found along the way. Since joining, I’ve seen so many relationships form between the PAWS girls. From big/little to the officer team, girls have found their best friends in this woman’s org. I cannot express enough that the connections in PAWS are what makes it such an amazing place to be.

The friendships I’ve built through PAWS have become one of the most valuable parts of my college experience. I also love that PAWS allows us to make an impact on the animals in our community. It’s rewarding to be part of something bigger than myself while working alongside such amazing women who share the same passion for service and giving back.
